About Us: We are nestled on the banks of the lazy River Ouse. The Restaurant and Bar are nestled next to the sleepy river Ouse. While dining in the Restaurant you can survey the tranquil scenery typical of the fens, watching the river boats and canal barges slipping lazily past, or if you are just wanting a pint you can sit and soak up the ambience of the bar or alternatively enjoy the fresh air outside in the lovely spacious garden area overlooking the moorings. As the winter sets in we’re now serving Mulled Wine & Pimm’s Winter with warmed Apple juice and Cinnamon, as well as tasty local Milton Ales which can be enjoyed in the comfort of the cozy bar area complete with a roaring fire.  Thursdays to Saturday nights give you a chance to enjoy a cocktail or two with your dinner or if Cocktails are not your thing, then we have a fine range of “posh drinks” so you can treat yourself.  Also look out for our Proper Pie day on Tuesdays and our Fish Specials on Friday nights. Families and children are more than welcome.  The Lazy Otter has facilities for younger children with a large enclosed play area.		The Lazy Otter (Stretham Ferry) We also have a great selection of local Real Ales mainly from the Milton Brewery, Westons Ciders, a great Wine list and a good selection of Spirits & Liqueurs to wet the whistle of the most discerning of drinker.  And if your driving past on your way home from work, why not pop in and just grab a couple of pints of your favourite Ale to take home in our fantastic 2 pint carry outs. The Lazy Otter is an ideal vantage point from the point of view of the traveller in this area, it is within easy reach of all the places of note in this part of the world, it is only a short hop in either direction to both Ely and then Cambridge in the opposite direction. We are also only a short hop from St Ives and its famous 1000 year old markets. Take a moment to stop off and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere by the river.
